Wilson Community Meeting Monday

"The crisis in Wilson is that there is no momentum."  The real urgency of the hour is that we are dying and no one is calling a code blue. I contend the quality of life is not where it should be. Folk have been left to die."  Rev. Alonzo Braggs  

The Rev. Alonzo Braggs of Bethel Church in Stantonsburg said many residents want a more unified community and to feel empowered. Braggs is calling a town hall meeting for Wilson residents to come and share their ideas and problems. The meeting will be held at the Wilson County Library in the large meeting room on Jan. 31, 2011 at 6 p.m.
