The Wise Up Challenge

Amy Grant, for those of you who know the artist, once sang " you gotta use your head to guard your heart. You better wise up." HOME is where the HEART is. It's about time you start to take care of "HOME". Any time citizens have a chance to use the power of voting -it's a big deal. A BIG darn deal. And there are too many citizens who don't understand why. WHY do I have to vote. My vote don't count. Reasons & excuses for you not to do the right thing. And you're absolutely right. IT DOESN'T COUNT when YOU DON'T vote. If you're smart enough to figure that much out - how about taking a gander at the rest.

SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE IS COUNTING ON YOU - TO KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT WHEN IT COMES TO YOU SHOWING UP AT THE POLLS TO CAST YOUR VOTE.

A GOOD MAJORITY OF YOU WOULD RATHER THROW A WOO-WOO PARTY THAN TAKE YOUR BODY DOWNTOWN AND CAST A SIMPLE VOTE FOR A CANDIDATE WHO IS GONNA MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE AND DAILY AFFAIRS - WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT... DON'T BELIEVE IT.... Let somebody get in trouble in the household in this county - stuff happens. It happens to the good and it happens to the not so good. You're gonna want help and you're gonna need some help. OK. So what you working with now? What do you have to work with now? OK ... here we go - the question is .... Is what you've got working for you now really gonna work for you when and should the time come that you need the system to work for you?

This Sheriff's race is a really BIG DEAL. ALL YOU have to do is open your eyes and look around you. You've been seeing what you see for almost 30 - count em up 1,2,3,4,5, 30 YEARS. What's changed?

Why or why not. That's the WHY part you need to get. WHY do you need to vote? 'Cause you need to do something you've not done in a while - MAKE A DIFFERENCE & COUNT FOR SOMETHING other than being a part of the "Whiners-Woo Woo Club." CHANGE starts with you. IF you're happy with the current state of affairs and how the sheriff's business in run in this county then this .message is not for you. IF you're not happy and you wanna see a difference in your lifetime - GO VOTE. AND take Pookie & Bubba with you.
