Parents and concerned citizens of Wilson County are invited to take part in a second community forum.

The purpose of the forum is to discuss proposed state budget cuts and their effect on the local school district. The Rev. Robert Andrews, president of the Parent Teacher Organization at Jones Elementary School, initiated the efforts to encourage individuals living in Wilson and surrounding areas to take an active approach to the across-the-board cuts expected to take place in the district during the 2011 fiscal year as a result of a $3.7 billion state budget shortfall.
