Board of Elections - Chock Full of Changes

On the heels of an investigation into why election results have been continuously delayed in the past, Wilson's Board of Election finds itself shuffling positions.
Effective February 28th, Ann Cone steps down from a position she's held for 24 years as Elections Director. Deputy Director, Rena' Morris has been named as the interim beginning March 1st. Donna Simms will serve as the new Chair, a position served by Ed Wyatt for the past four years. Wyatt will remain on the board as a member while he prepays to serve as interim city manager for the city of New Bern. Russ Britt and Deputy Director Joann Hickman respectuflly remain in their current positions on the board.
