Citizen Forum: Discussion on new Wilson Police Chief

Participate in the Process - The search for a new police chief begins with citizens encouraged to attend a community forum to express their thoughts and opinions of what the city needs in a new police chief.
City Manager, Grant Goings recently announced his first choice is to hire from within the department if possible for Wilson's next police chief.
The seat becomes vacant as Harry Tyson, former Chief was appointed deputy city manager replacing Charles Pittman who recently retired. The department recently won an international award from Cisco for community policing.
