We have heard the rumors about his prejudice towards Afro Americans, we have seen his Facebook Page with his all white friends but this picture says it all. I am shocked that he would send something out that implies he will protect white males and mexican women. Is this the kind of sheriff we want to protect us? He uses Calvin Woodards theme of protecting the whole county, and Calvin's ideas for improving Wilson County and he sends out this very racial literature. He needs to quit his campaign now. We do not need any hate or racial hate or implications in the race. Thanks but no thanks, John Farmer, you will never get my vote.
Must be a select few who's receiving the mailer from John Farmer too. A friend of mine got one and shared it with me. I'm still looking now that I know it's out there. My friend and I are Ebony and Ivory. Ebony didn't get her's yet. And Ivory was nice enough to share.
It shows what it shows... white and Hispanic. And the caption says it all....This is who will be protected by John Farmer.
Oh well the picture speaks for itself. If he cared about black folks he would not be running anyway. Why would he try to block a young black male from becoming the 1st black Sheriff of the county?
Just wondering if this was sent to only white people. I have spoken to many people about this picture and the only ones who have received it are white, including me. I know they got my name from the voter registration list because of the way my name is listed. And Curmilus, you and I both know he is running because Wayne Gay told him to. Plain and simple. If he really wanted to be a sheriff, he could have applied in other counties with openings in the last few years. He was comfortable doing what Wayne told him to do, including intimidating black folks with his nasty mouth and his gun. Flipping out on people and slapping people around. Ignoring the sexual harassment and other illegal activities in the Sheriffs department. He has been busy ignoring what has been going on unless it makes himself look good. The picture speaks for itself. He just shot himself in the foot as far as his campaign goes sending out this picture. Calvin Woodard is the best candidate for the job of Wilson County Sheriff. Let us all work together to get Calvin into office.
I agree with the previous writer 100 %. Ok maybe the lady wasnt black, but neither was she white. The detective was white she was not.. He still works their she does not. If they planned to keep him they should have transfered her to another job within the department not just let her quit. Again looking outfor his white male friends. If whatever happened was bad enough for her to quit then they should have fired him. If it had been a black detective and a white woman I bet the outcome would have been different. In any case no matter who it was, how can the ones in charge really explain a case of people having sex on the job, in the sheriff's office and not fire them both? if this is what the people of wilson want then vote farmer. You will get what you deserve.
