Christopher Boykin
6510 Old Davis Road
Sims, NC 27880
August 16, 2010
Dear Chairman Young:
I hearby resign as Chairman of the Wilson County Democratic party effective as of the date above.
For over seven years I have faithfully served as Chairman of the County Party and performed the duties prescribed by the Party plan of Organization, including those as a member of the State Executive Committee. It has been my pleasure to work with you in this state capacity.
The petition filed wiht you dated August 6, 2010 contains a number of inaccuracies, incliding the statement that I served as Chairman of the Committee to re-elect Wayne Gay for Sheriff in the recent Democratic primary. That is untrue.
I know that the petition will be dismissed upon receipt of this letter but I wanted you to know the truth.
I wish you and the officials with whom I have worked best wishes.
Sincerely,
Chris Boykin

Thank you Mr. Boykin for finally resigning. It was the right thing to do. The wrong thing to do, but was expected, was that you continue to deny any wrong doing. How very sad for you but then as I have said many times, God knows your heart. So now we need to move on to the races at hand, especially the Sheriff's Race. The summer is almost over and the fall campaign will be full speed ahead. The first debate between the Calvin Woodard and John Farmer is on Friday, September 10th. This is being sponsored by the Wilson County Tea Party. See their website on Facebook or the internet for more information. Let's all get energized and back the most qualified candidate, who in my opinion, is Calvin Woodard. Everyone have a great day. Barbara
Now that it's over our duty and obligation to ourselves is to make sure we're a part of the process that's coming up. Millicent Graves has 30 days to call a meeting to replace Boykin. IF you are a registered democrat in this county and you're truly concerned about the welfare and well-being of Wilson County -you need to be at the meeting. And you need to bring 2 of your friends with you. SERIOUSLY! One of the reasons we've found ourselves in this mess is because WE, THE PEOPLE trusted those in whom we thought we could trust to carry out the duties and perform the task to represent ALL not a select few. WELL...we've been there done that. We need to bring democracy back to the Wilson County Democratic party. Citizens need to do their part. Woodard said he'd bring the Sheriff's Department back to the people. SO what that means to me is that WE, THE PEOPLE - Willing Wilsonians need to play a major part in helping to make that happen. Stop depending on somebody, anybody and everybody else to make this happen. Wilson belongs to us ALL...I AM A WILSONIAN AND I'M WILLING TO HELP MAKE THIS HAPPEN...WON'T YOU JOIN ME and others who believe. And when you find out when and where the meeting will be held... let us all know. That's part of the problem now - too much secrecy amongst the select few. They don't want us to know so they can do what they wanna and place their own in key positions. Well, no mas!!! NOT NO MORE!!!
NOW WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF EM'
To the first "Anonymous"...how anonymous is it when you sign your name "Barbara And to "Wilson Watchdog"...is that last phrase, "Well, no mas!!! NOT NO MORE!!!" a racial reference?
Guero.Get a dictionary and look it up! Better yet, GOOGLE IT.IF you'd learn another language or two or three other than "country-English" and "stupidity" you might just learn how to express yourself a "wee" bit better buddy...Is that racial enough for you. Oh, that's me Irish coming out there now! Arrgh!!! And the Pirate in me too. LMAO!!!!
