Among the planes that will be on display during the Wilson Industrial Air Center Open House & Fly-In Saturday, Sept. 18 is a Boeing Stearman PT17 biplane owned by Wilson pilot Lin Oakley and his wife, Pam. In this series of photos taken last weekend, Oakley is shown making preparations for the show by taking the plane up for a spin over Wilson County. The annual air show will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and is free of charge to the public.
