Bike Rodeo

Saturday - Free bike rodeo for kids today from 9 a.m. to noon at J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex, 3238 Corbett Ave. Participants need to bring their own bikes and helmets. The rodeo will be in the parking lot of the Gillette complex in front of the Heritage Bank baseball stadium. Riders will receive safety information and have a chance to take part in 11 events. The events include tests of balancing, braking, maneuvering, turning and signaling. Completion of the course will entitle a rider to receive a bicyclist license.
