The Wilson Farmers Market

Saturday - The Wilson Farmers Market opens today at the Wilson County Fairgrounds. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. until noon each Saturday now through September. "The market will operate under the red shelter. Vendors should have an assortment of fresh strawberries, lettuce, collars, cabbage, onions, squash, tomatoes, bedding plants, flowers and other items.


The Wilson Farmers Market is joining the Wilson Downtown Development Corp. in opening up a new market site at 207 W. Green St., in downtown Wilson. It opens May 19 and will operate each Wednesday through August from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The downtown market is located across the street from the Jarman House restaurant.
